Introducing Nüwa

Some collections begin with a sketch. Nüwa began with a story.

Inspired by the ancient Chinese creator goddess Nüwa, a symbol of creation, renewal and the restoration of the sky, the collection explores the beauty of things carefully made and thoughtfully preserved. Alongside this mythology sits Creative Director Laura Liles' personal archive of vintage Japanese and Chinese textiles and antique pottery, treasured pieces collected over time that quietly shaped the spirit of the collection. Together, these references became the foundation for a story where history, craftsmanship and imagination meet.

Throughout the collection, colour carries meaning. Sky-washed blues echo the heavens Nüwa restored, while rich crimson tones draw from the symbolism and depth woven throughout Chinese culture. Hand-drawn prints, tactile textures and considered details speak to the enduring beauty of artisanal craftsmanship, inviting each piece to feel collected rather than created, as though discovered on a journey rather than simply designed.

The Nüwa Collection continues Kinga Csilla's appreciation for storytelling through clothing. Designed for everyday moments, distant destinations and everything in between, these are pieces that invite curiosity, celebrate cultural influence with respect, and become part of your own unfolding story.
